Kim Bass began dancing at the age of 10, taking ballet, tap and jazz classes and discovering a passion for performing in 1995. She began her amateur career by competing Pro-Am and Couples competition. She has also ventured into the Ballroom and International Latin Dance circuit. Since turning professional in 2004, Kim has been traveling around the US competing, teaching and doing
choreography in a highly competitive field of Country Western and Swing Dance. She was an appointed Member of the United Country Western Dance Council and is a Professional Member of the World Swing Dance Council. In 2008, Kim achieved her UCWDC Judges Certification and now travels to judge, compete, teach and perform.
Additionally, Ms Bass has been awarded a Citation from the New York Korean-American Junior Chamber (Jaycees) in 2007 for “Excellence in Dance”. In 2008, Ms. Bass was also honored by the Korean-American Association of New Jersey for her “Leadership in the Performing Arts”.
