"This was the first time that I've attended this event and what a blast. Held on the U.S. thanksgiving weekend at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort (right on the beach) in Ft. Lauderdale the weather was in the 80's......suntaning, relaxing by the pool or ocean and dancing.....what a combination. This event had a fantastic Sunday after-party "Luau" that was so much fun. We even managed to get in a WCS flash-mob. A great Saturday evening show, UCWDC competition as well as Strictly Swing and Jack and Jill competitions and classes in linedance, WCS, ECS, Salsa, Nightclub, Hustle, 2-step.....absolutely something for everyone. Congratulations to Zac Detweiller (Linedance Coordinator) who DJ'd the combined Linedance and Swing room while the Saturday evening show was on and kept all the dancers rockin'. The friendly vibe between linedancers and couples was great to see. This is one event I highly recommend..."

Airport Shuttle Service

SSDC has arranged for discounted shuttle service provided by Dependable Transportation between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. Call 954-849-7113 for information or to schedule a trip. Cost is $20 per trip with no tipping. In comparison, a taxi ride will cost approximately $30 per trip plus tip.

Shared Van/Private Car

For door-to-door, shared-ride transportation, consider a luxury sedan or van from GO Airport Shuttle which provides a "zone" fare from the Airport right to your door. Private Car service is also available. Check in at the Transportation Podium located outside the baggage area on the lower level curbside. A comparison list of fares is posted at each podium. Taxi

Yellow Cab taxis are available on demand around the clock at the Airport. Please check in at the Transportation Podium located outside the baggage area on the lower level at the curb of each terminal. Rate comparison charts are posted at each podium.
